The Alliance for Distance Education in California (ADEC) is again holding its annual distance-learning summit at the CUE 2011 Conference. Summit panelists and attendees represent K12, community college, university and adult education. Summit XXII provides an opportunity to explore creative collaborative solutions in today’s challenging times. Expert panelists will share ideas while providing opportunities to discuss and explore possible solutions offered by online learning and technology. Panels include diverse topics such as eLearning in Professional Development; eLearning: The New Adult Education; eLearning: Mobile Devices in Learning and Teaching at All Levels; eLearning: Exploration of Androgogy. The luncheon speaker, Michelle Pakansky-Brock, will speak on Teaching Without Walls: Life Beyond the Lecture.

Summit XXII includes:

  • Interactive presentations and lunch (10:00 am to 3:00 pm).
  • Opportunity for attendees to visit the exhibit hall and participate
    in a SIG meeting (3:00 to 6:00 pm).
  • Annual AFFY Awards Reception (6:00 to 7:00 pm).
  • Leaders, practitioners, and those wishing to gain more
    insight into the possibilities and pitfalls of online learning
    are encouraged to attend.
